Section B: Color Definitions


Define briefly and discuss in sentence form the following aspect of color:

Secondary Color

A secondary color is produced by mixing two of the three primary colors. The secondary colors are halfway between two primaries on the color wheel. The subtractive primaries (cyan, magenta and yellow) are the additive secondaries and the additive primaries (red, green and blue) are the subtractive secondaries. The traditional artists' secondary colors are green, orange and purple.
